PRP is the abbreviated name of the treatment method called “Platelet Rich Plasma-Platelet (platelet, clot cell) enriched plasma application”. PRP application, which is a new skin rejuvenation method, has been developed in recent years. In the PRP method, 8- 20 cc blood is taken from the patient and centrifuged. The serum obtained in the treatment of PRP is injected into the skin in a small amount and widely such as mesotherapy.
When any damage occurs to our tissues, our blood collects the clot cells into this tissue and initiates a repair process. The purpose of the PRP application is to deliver more clot cells to the target tissue than can be carried by blood circulation. Thus, the repair of the target tissue begins quickly and powerfully and results in quicker. The density of platelets in serum obtained by PRP method is 2-4 times higher than in blood.
